Haidyn Harvey

Haidyn Harvey is The Chimaera Project’s Development Associate and eNews Editor. As a writer originally from Denver, CO, she strives to tell stories of real women overcoming real issues with resilience and humor. She began writing at a young age, starting with her fourth-grade short story about the diary of a Kleenex box. In the years to follow, she discovered her passion for creative writing. She went on to earn a BA from Pepperdine University in both film production and journalism where she received the AYURI Screenplay Grant. Her film, Gordon and Milo, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. She has experience in both film and fundraising through her previous roles in development, legal, publishing, and research. She has supported an Academy Award-winning production company, and assisted on the New York Times-bestseller Project 562: Changing The Way We See Native America. In her free time, Haidyn enjoys maintaining her Duolingo streak, the Los Angeles Rams, the great outdoors, and the great indoors.
