Darlene Conte is a Writer/Producer who seeks to illuminate and inspire her generation as well as her son’s generation to leave the world a better place than you found it. She launched Hundredth Monkey Productions in 2015 to explore the feminine narrative while creating projects that manifest social change as well as entertain. She is currently pitching a feature, Fall Forward, and two half-hour pilots while workshopping a play, Shame. Past credits include Fresh News, a short about fake news way before its time which she wrote, produced and directed. She has written opinion articles for Write Movies.com and CulturalWeekly.com.
Before writing, she had an acting career that spanned two decades with work on Grey’s Anatomy, Monk, Spiderman 2, Diagnosis Murder, Living Hell, Twice as Dead among others. Darlene joined The Chimaera Project to support women who look to be change they want to see in the film industry.
